PREVENTIVE AND RESTORATIVE approaches are used in providing support for the street children. The Preventive approach is designed for impoverished children who are blessed to still have families/relatives caring for them but are unable to attend school due to insufficient or lack of funds. Restorative approach on the other hand, is for kids who’ve gone through traumatic experiences and would ned to go through recovery. Both are applied in the 4-part program of GALA.
Each child, before coming to GALA have faced different predicaments, so we make sure that the treatment for each of them is based on their needs and capacities. We apply a 4-part program, as listed below, that have effectively improved the children’s characters and would eventually lead them to living a purposeful life.
